From the moment of diagnosis until the end of the treatment, the patient is often disoriented and alone in dealing with the healing journey.

The purpose of this course is to experience how to take care of yourself also passes through the preparation of daily meals, learning how to choose foods and cook them with methods that are wholesome, tasty and healthy.

Feeding is one of the fundamental resources for the welfare of those who follow therapies to fight breast cancer. In this course you will widely use foods such as cereals in grain, legumes, oilseeds, vegetables, fresh seasonal dishes with a particular attention to make tempting and tasty dishes because what is good for us only works if it's good!

The method of the direction of the course is interactive and so the trainees will work together with the teacher, Lena Tritto, Diet Consultant according to Chinese medicine and natural cooking teacher. Along with Valeria Tonino and Karin Wallnoefer she wrote "The Tao and the art of the kitchen" and Pendragon, Bologna 2012.

The three meetings are devoted to the main meals of the day: breakfast, lunch and dinner.

We start then from the breakfast that for the Chinese diet is the most important meal of the day: we will see preparations for desserts (oats and apple pie, crunchy muesly) and savory foods (chickpeas squares ) and also something unusual for our tradition such as creams based on rice and oats and creams of legumes (red lentil dahl).
