Obama Keynote Speaker at Seeds&Chips 2017

Proper food, waste and food of the future explained by one of the most influential voices in the world political landscape.

The 2017 edition of  "Seeds&Chips - The Global Food Innovation Summit" - the event dedicated to food innovation on stage May 8 to 11 at Fiera Milano Rho - will host today an exceptional speaker: Barack Obama.

Starting at 14 o'clock, the former US President will hold a keynote speech about half an hour, during which he will speak about proper nutrition, waste, and future food. Followed by a duet with Sam Kass, who has worked at the White House until 2014, as Obama's chief adviser on nutrition policy, as well as soul of the Let's Move campaign wanted by Michelle Obama to fight obesity in the US.

After the ehxibition, Obama will receive from the mayor Giuseppe Sala the “keys” to the city of Milan, a candidate to become the international capital of food innovation and so take up the legacy of Expo to meet one of the major global challenges: climate change and supply of food on an ever-populated planet and with increasingly scarce resources.

Particularly precious issues to Probios feeling has always been that sell organic products is not only business reason, but rather to promote behaviors that help to make our world better. For the company, it’s imperative to concern and take care of people and the environment: buying certified organic products means choosing companies that require a careful selection of raw material cultivation methods and that do not give up on the use of herbicides, pesticides, chemical fertilizers and synthesis that pollute our land, our waters and our air.
