Probios at CIBUS 2018

Probios, now at its fortieth anniversary, is pleased to announce its participation to the 19th edition of Cibus International Food Exhibition - the International Food Show organized by Fiere di Parma and Federalimentare - scheduled from May 7th to 10th at Fiere di Parma.

The Tuscan Group will present itself to the professionals of food, retail and Ho.Re.Ca., both national and international, with two different stands: the first one, 64 square meters wide (Stand E040 Pav. 6), dedicated to the parent company Probios, historical brand which owns most of the brands marketed; the second one (Stand G046, Hall 6), dedicated to Il Nutrimento, a company of the Probios Group, specialized in processing fresh organic vegetables with artisanal method.

An excellent example in the production “from farm to table”, Il Nutrimento founds its production on the exaltation of the raw material origins and the local producers’ work, encouraging behaviors that can make the Earth a better place. The company develops products in private label too, using mainly raw materials grown in Italy, to ensure a short supply chain, a reduced environmental impact and the promotion of Italian organic farming.

Numerous new products will be presented by Probios at Cibus 2018.
Among these, the brand new Cous Cous Time, two cous cous that have dressing in the recipe the condiments: available in a practical pack that allows you to prepare the product simply, just adding hot or cold water directly in the cup. Thanks to the useful fork in the package, the Cous Cous Time can be enjoyed anywhere, perfect for a light and tasty lunch break.

Side by side, a new space will be opened in this edition: Cibus Innovation Corner (Hall 4.1.), where it will be possible to discover the 100 new products, selected by a jury of Food & Retail experts. Among the selected products, visitors will have the opportunity to discover two innovative Probios’ products: Crispy Crackers with Chickpeas by Altricereali - a unique product on the Italian market, prepared with only chickpeas, lentils and green peas flour, - and the Soya Mayonnaise with turmeric and ginger from Il Nutrimento’s Oganic in Tube range, vegan and gluten-free, available in a practical recyclable aluminum tube.

Besides to the exhibition of selected products, the area will host talks and debates on new trends in the agri-food sector in collaboration with FOOD magazine. In this framework, Probios will take part to the debate curated by Food on “The top trends in food & beverage innovation: Focus on Organic” (May 8th, starting from 11am) where Fernando Favilli, Probios’ President and Vice President of Assobio, will illustrate the most important company case histories.
