In New York with Eataly for the project "Organic Food Organic Mood"

Probios flies to New York to take part to Federbio’s project “Organic Food Organic Mood”.

The program, born in February with the collaboration of the European Union and the Italian government, has the goal to grow and strengthen the role of the food and agricultural community, especially focusing on the organic sector, in the extra EU countries, such as China, Japan and USA. The project includes a series of informational, promotional and communicational activities, in order to support the organic certified products and their productive and distributive supply chains.

On Monday, February the 6th, it will take place the first opening event at Eataly Flatiron store in New York City, to present the European organic products to the City. After a small overview about the sector, the event will continue with a show cooking by the chef Alexis Mejia of Eataly’s Scuola Grande, the Italian Cooking Academy of the chain, that selected some of the Probios’ products, such as the Italian tomato sauce, the scented EVO oils, the cornmeal mush and the buckwheat cous cous, to create a rich menu using the organic Italian excellences.

The event will also continue in the stores that distribute Probios’ products in the United States, Buonitalia at Chelsea Market and Coluccio&Sons, where the products of the brand will be on promotion from the 2nd to the 8th of February. Lastly, during the month of May, Probios’ products will be sold in every Eataly store in the United States (New York, Chicago and Boston) and in the other stores involved in this program, to celebrate the month dedicated to Italian organic products.
