Gluten Freedom: Project of Research and Development on Organic Buckwheat

Probios launched during 2014 a research and development project with the Foundation for Research and Innovation, promoted by the University of Florence, the Metropolitan City of Florence and the Department of Experimental and Clinical Medicine of the University of Florence, targeted on the study of eating habits related to certain diseases.

The goal of the project was to investigate whether a diet based on products derived from organic buckwheat is able to determine significant clinical benefits in patients with diseases, such as irritable bowel syndrome or gluten sensitivity.
The research project was based on the dosing of Probios "Altri Cereali" products, made from buckwheat, to patients suffering from gluten sensitivity, compared to a control group.

Two videos concerning the project, which involved Dr. Lorenzo Tonini, head of Probios product development, were also crealized to help us learning more about the project, both of them can be found on our Youtube channel! (Only Italian)
