WorldHeartday 2016: Proios Support “Hearth Target”



The Foundation UniVerde and the Italian Geographical Society Onlus promote - on the occasion of the World Earth Day convened by the UN in 1970 and celebrated every April 22 - the geographical-environmental photo contest "Earth Target" for the defense and promotion of cultural heritage Italian environment.

For the third year in a row, Probios is partner of the contest, with the aim of raising awareness on crucial issues such as the defense of protected areas, the promotion of sustainable and responsible tourism and the preservation of local agricultural, crafts, historical and cultural traditions.

The competition, which has become a regular event, aims at promoting the natural beauty of our protected areas and enhancing internationally the environmental heritage and biodiversity characterizing national and regional parks of Italy.

The awards ceremony will take place in Rome, Villa Celimontana, April 22, 2016 at 11.30 am, and also Rossella Bartolozzi, Chief Financial Officer of Probios, will participate. The winner will receive a cash reward and will be given a plaque - by the UniVerde Foundation and the Italian Geographical Society.
The winning photograph will then be shown on a maxi-poster in Rome, in Barberini Square.
While the winning photos in each category will be shown on large screens in the "Earth Village" to be held in Rome, Villa Borghese, until April 25.

At the end of the ceremony, guests will be served a vegan aperitif with Probios products, a way to encourage the respect of the planet starting from what we put into the plate.
