Dried Figs - The Expert Answers

I buy your dried figs which are very good, but sometimes I find them with a white powder above, is this flour?

Flour is absolutely not used in dried figs (in this case it should be declared as an ingredient). The whitish powdery residue is the sugary substance that emerges naturally from the fruit which then solidifies on the surface.
Maybe it won’t be aesthetically perfect, but everything happens according to nature!
