The photo competition on Parks of Italy on the occasion of the 43rd World Earth Day (April 22, 2013) Under the High Patronage of the President of the Republic
The UniVerde Foundation and the Italian Geographical Society non-profit organization, promoted the 4th edition of the geographical and environmental photo competition "Target Earth," to enhance the heritage of Italian national and regional parks.
The photographs will be subject to a pre-selection by the promoters and the final selection, by decree of the winner, will be carried out by a panel of experts composed among others by:

Sonia Ferrari - President of the Sila National Park
Mario Cucinella - Architect and designer
Vera Corbelli - General Authority Secretary of the National Basin of Liri-Garigliano-Volturno
Italo Clementi - Trekking & Outdoor magazine Publisher and Vice President of the National FederTrek

He who will win the contest will receive a cash prize and the lucky shot will be on display at the 43rd World Earth Day (April 22, 2013) on a big poster in Rome, in the prestigious setting of Piazza Cavour.
7 honorable mentions will also be conferred to the winning photos of each of the following categories:
- Trees and Forests
- Animals
- Coastal area
- Resource Water (2013 UN International Year of the cooperation in the water sector)
- Agricultural landscape
- Parks of the South and the Islands
- Villages (2013 European Year of Citizens EU)
The competition has received this year, the High Patronage of the President of the Republic, under the patronage of the Ministry of Environment, of the Ministry of Agriculture, of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, of Federparchi, of all the National Parks and since 2013 the patronage of the State Property, the Italian Naval League and the Alpine Convention.
The awards ceremony will be held on April 22, 2013 in Rome at Villa Celimontana, home of the Italian Geographical Society, where Elisa Favilli, marketing manager of Probios, will award a prize to one of the winners. At 10.00 in Piazza Cavour in Rome there will be a press conference in front of the giant poster of the winning photo.
