Pasticcio of Oats and Apples - Chinese Dietetics


INGREDIENTS
  • - 5 apples cut into large dice
  • - 3 cups of oatmeal
  • - 2 handfuls of raisins
  • - ½ teaspoon of cinnamon
  • - 1 pinch of salt
  • - 2 tablespoons almonds, shelled and cut into strips
  • - 2 tablespoons brown sugar
INSTRUCTIONS
  1. Soak the oatmeal with 3 cups of water, salt and raisins.
  2. Let it stand for 3 hours, then add the cinnamon and apples.
  3. Mix all together.
  4. Spread the mixture into a greased and floured (thickness of 2-3 cm).
  5. Sprinkle the almonds and the sugar. Bake at 180 ° C until golden brown.
  6. Let it cool before removing from pan.
